WordPress Website Development
Bespoke WordPress and WooCommerce websites, designed and built in-house to the same standards as our commerce work. Nothing bought from a theme marketplace, nothing assembled out of page-builder blocks. Fast pages, WCAG 2.2 AA, a journey designed to convert — and the whole thing yours outright when it’s finished.
Bespoke means drawn for you, not bought for you
A lot of what gets sold as a bespoke WordPress site is a marketplace theme with your logo dropped into it. Ours starts with your business, your customers and what you need the site to do, goes through wireframes and design, and ends as a custom theme built to WordPress coding standards. It also means you own it. No licence that expires, no page-builder plugin holding your layout hostage, and no monthly fee that stops the site working the day you cancel.
What's included
£4,500 to £9,000 for most business websites. The range is driven by page count, how much is bespoke versus templated, and integration requirements. We quote a fixed price after a scoping call and we do not revise it unless you change the scope.
Design built for your business
Not a stock theme with your logo dropped into it. Designed around what your site actually has to do.
Editable by your team
Built on Gutenberg or a mainstream page builder, so your people can change pages without a developer. Small changes shouldn't need an invoice.
Core Web Vitals as a build requirement
Measured before launch, not fixed afterwards. Speed is designed in rather than bolted on.
Technical SEO from the start
Structure, metadata, schema markup, XML sitemap, and redirects from your old site so you don't lose what you've built.
Accessibility to WCAG 2.2 AA
As standard, not as an upgrade. It's the right thing and it's increasingly a legal expectation.
Training and 30 days of support
Recorded, so new starters can watch it. Plus content migration, forms, integrations and analytics configured and tested.
Selling online — and when to move to Magento
WooCommerce is the right platform for a straightforward catalogue, single-currency, single-warehouse, mostly B2C. It's genuinely capable and considerably cheaper to run than Magento. £7,500 to £15,000. It stops being the right platform at a fairly predictable point, and we'd rather tell you where that point is now than sell you a rebuild later. Move to Magento when you hit roughly: more than about 5,000 SKUs with complex attributes; multiple warehouses or multi-country stock and pricing; B2B pricing tiers, customer-specific catalogues or quote workflows; multiple storefronts from one catalogue; or order volume where WooCommerce admin performance starts limiting your team. If you're already near any of those, start on Magento. If you're not, WooCommerce will serve you well for years — and we build the Magento stores too, so nobody here is arguing for the wrong platform to keep the work in-house.
Designed to convert, then measured
We design the path to enquiry or checkout before the visual design starts, build analytics and event tracking in from day one, and hand you a site you can actually read the numbers from. Where a care plan is in place, we keep reviewing those numbers with you rather than leaving them in a dashboard nobody opens.
Care plans, if you want one
Twelve-month minimum, then rolling. What is included and what is billed separately is written down, because vague care plans end badly for whichever side is being reasonable.

Who this suits
Built properly, priced openly, and yours outright when it is finished. Four to eight weeks for most sites, from the point your content is ready — content is almost always what sets the timeline, and we will tell you early exactly what we need and when.
- ✓ You want to own your website outright rather than rent it
- ✓ You need your team to edit pages without calling a developer
- ✓ Your current site is slow, dated, or nobody maintains it
- ✓ You're selling online at a scale WooCommerce comfortably handles
Good fit if
- ? You need complex B2B pricing, multi-warehouse stock or multiple storefronts — that's Magento
- ? You want the lowest possible monthly figure rather than to own the result
